| Welcome to the Peru Library, Peru, MA...
With not a store, gas station, or even a post office in sight, the center of Peru certainly isn't like any other town in the area. One building that tends to stand out from the others is the Peru Library. The library is such a trademark of the town, in fact, that it was featured on Dan Doughtery's popular Doors of the Berkshires poster. What few realize is what lies beyond the other side of the door waiting to be discovered. Not only does the library offer an extensive collection of books, audio books, videos, and more, but also a museum room full of artifacts from the surrounding area, computer lab complete with four workstations, and the most friendly and knowledgeable group of staff members that anyone could ask for.
